Reverberatory furnace structure

The metal loss of this furnace is only 1.5% when 73% of the melting material is returned and 27% of the aluminium ingot is treated. Another advantage of this kind of furnace is that during the process of burden falling from the top of the furnace, it continuously dries, preheates, softens and sinks. Volatile substances, water vapor and other substances are discharged along the flue gas. Some paint and other substances can also be burned and removed before melting. Therefore, the quality of molten aluminium can also be improved.

The open-pit reverberatory furnace structure for remelting aluminium scrap was proposed by Japan's Okukuo. The furnace consists of a pre-melting chamber, a melting chamber, a charging device and an electromagnetic stirrer. The characteristics of this furnace are that the exposed molten pool is convenient for waste charging, and the charge is melted rapidly by contacting directly with the melt in the molten pool. There is a pressure device for ramming waste into the melt above the open well. The open well is connected with the melting chamber and separated by the furnace door. The molten pool of the two wells is connected below the furnace door. The melting chamber is closed by the furnace door and the furnace top, and the furnace burner is used to heat the molten aluminium. The bottom and outside of the lining of the melting chamber are equipped with an electromagnetic stirrer for stirring the melt. The position of electromagnetic stirrer is adjustable. This furnace is most suitable for the remelting of metal aluminium scraps, especially empty aluminium cans, aluminium chips and other scraps, and does not need the traditional pressing packages. After the aluminium scrap is loaded in the open well, it is forced into the melt by the pressure device, which can accelerate the melting. This reduces the burning loss of aluminium foil and other aluminium materials, while the waste gas generated by the burning of paint and paint on the waste surface can hardly enter the melting chamber, and all of them dissipate from the open air or are discharged after the dust collector is purified. Electromagnetic stirring improves the melting rate, makes the composition uniform and improves the product quality.

Modern reverberatory furnace mainly burns gas and oil, and the key is the structure of burner. The domestic "Yan's fast aluminium melting furnace" and "Yan's burner" have been popularized and applied, and good results have been obtained. The use of coal-fired vertical aluminium melting furnace in Shanghai Aluminum Wire Plant has certain reference value for unconditional central enterprises. At this time, coal is added to the combustion chamber, assisted by a blower, and the flame generated by combustion is channeled into the furnace through the turning wall, and the heat is introduced into the furnace to melt aluminium.
